Licenses and Copyright

1. Copyright Ownership

Author Retention: Authors who publish with Al-Furat Journal of Innovations in Electronics and Computer Engineering (FJIECE) retain full copyright of their work.

Publishing Rights: Authors grant FJIECE and its publisher, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU), a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and display the manuscript in print, digital, and all electronic formats, as well as the right to be identified as the original publisher of the work.

2. Open Access Licensing Terms

FJIECE is a fully open-access journal. All accepted articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 License, third parties (readers and the general public) are permitted to:

Share: Copy, distribute, and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial uses.

Conditions:

Attribution: Reusers must give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and source, provide a link to the CC BY 4.0 license, and indicate if changes were made. Attribution must be done in a reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the journal or authors endorse the reuser's work.

3. Self-Archiving Policy (Repository Policy)

Authors are encouraged to archive and share their work to increase visibility and citation impact:

Preprints & Postprints: Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript (Preprint) or the Accepted Author Manuscript (Postprint) on their personal website, institutional repository, or pre-print servers at any time.

Published Version (Version of Record): Authors are permitted to deposit the final published PDF version of their article in institutional repositories, open-access databases, or research platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu) immediately upon publication without an embargo period, provided full citation to FJIECE is included.

4. Third-Party Content & Materials

Authors are solely responsible for obtaining explicit written permission from copyright holders prior to submission for the inclusion of any third-party figures, tables, photos, audio/video clips, or datasets.

The owner of any third-party content must agree to release the material under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Proper acknowledgement and source references must be stated clearly in the manuscript captions for all third-party content.
